Booked a table online for ‘food and drink’ at :pm. My partner was running late due to a delayed train so I emailed in advance to ask if we could turn up half an hour later (no response and no contact number so turned up at : anyway). Said on arrival that I was here for dinner and would have a drink whilst waiting for my partner. At pm, we went to order food and were told the kitchen was closed. This was not mentioned when I made the booking for ‘food’ nor when I arrived and said I was there for a meal. I explained this to a member of staff who thanked me for highlighting the issue. Shame because I was really looking forward to the food! Spicy marg was fabulous though! Look forward to trying the food another time.

Lovely food, perfect portion for a light lunch bite and very reasonable. Great selection of drinks with very pleasant bar staff. Fun decor and entertainment, would recommend for lunch or a night out. Atmosphere was a little lacking as it was the first day it opened, but started filling up a lot more as we left.Vegetarian options: Vegan chicken bites were great! Can swap anything on the menu for vegan/veggie option

Clearly we were too old for this place and they wont be interested in clients like us (i.e. over :-))I'm a Rum drinker! I know my Rum and I love Caribbean food but this wasn't for me. Clearly they are going for the young person vibe with mainstream Rums (Bacardi, Sailor Jerry, Diplomatico... ) and manufactured Tiki bar look. The music was too loud for conversation and the cocktails were flashy nonsense (IMHO) with no Daiquiri, Mojito or Old Fashioned on the menu. The service was ok but you have to queue at the bar to place your order and even though it was a quiet time of the evening we had to wait for the only person behind the bar to serve and prep large drinks orders before they could put in our food order. The quality of the food was fine, the quantaty was ok but it wasn't very exciting. Then we were still eating, admitidly clear plates but still nibling at fries when a water came from behind me and picked up the fries to clear our table without asking. It was ok... is the best I can say I'm afraid. I'm sure folk will like it but not for everyone.
